Recent Inventions (April 08)

Since September 1986, Palace Packaging Machines has been inventing and building what is today the most complete line of container and component feeding & unscrambling systems available from one manufacturer.

HERE IS A BRIEF OUTLINE OF OUR MOST POPULAR MACHINES:

7 Types of Container Unscramblers.  We are capable of handling most any application and in any environment.  Our Modular Unscrambler offers individual components which you can trade in for larger and faster ones in the future.  The unscrambler expands & grows as your business needs grow.  No need to invest in a whole new machine.

Centrifugal Bowl Feeders.  Different sizes of precision machined bowls are capable of highspeed sorting and feeding.  Our simple bowl & disc drive assembly allows for tooling to enter the bowl's interior from underneath as well as from overhead.

Linear Tray Feeding & Counting Systems.  A versatile tiered oscillating tray system allows us to feed flexible packages from loose bulk.  Liquid filled pouches, hardware bags, desiccant sachets, and much more!
Also well suited for batch counting many kinds of components.

Desiccant Inserting.  Units for all speed ranges up to 700 per minute.  One model that is capable of inserting both canister & loose sachet desiccants.

Air-conveying Pre-feeders.  Bulk hopper that control feeds bottles, caps, corks, and more into tubing with airflow to move the components great distances.  No overhead conveyors, just PVC or Stainless tubing to install.

Tablet Hopper/Elevators.   Bulk bin with metering cleated elevating belt for consistent feed rates into top mounted tablet bins of any tablet counting/filling system.  Removable bin, belt, and other contact parts allow for easy cleaning, thorough inspection, and exchanging product belts.

HISTORY OF PALACE

Palace got its start from a love of machinery.  After 25 years in the machinery design & manufacturing, Paul Taraschi found himself unemployed and working at his eldest son's restaurant (Palace Pizzeria).

After a very short career in the food business, Paul decided to return to machinery design.  With 4 of his 6 children still at home along with several foster children he knew it would be no easy task.

Fortunately the pizzeria provided much needed assistance.  In addition, many of Paul's past relationships with other engineers helped to get things started.  Those people sent in even the smallest of projects as they knew that there was going to be great things to come out of Palace in the future.

Since 1986 Palace has controlled its growth and now supplies feeding & unscrambling machinery around the world.  4 of Paul's children now own and run the company from its 34,000 sq. ft. facility on 6-1/2 acres in the Philadelphia suburb of Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Everything needed to design, build, and test the machines is within the building so Palace has 100% control of the quality of every component going into a Palace machine.

The focus is on feeding, unscrambling, and pre-feeding systems.  Palace works with many other equipment manufacuters whom do not take on feeding and unscrambling applications.
